Refund Policy

Ghost Rev provides custom backend and community infrastructure services. This policy explains how refunds are handled.

1. General principle

Most of our work involves custom architecture, implementation, and configuration tailored to your specific business. Once work has started, it cannot simply be “returned”, so refunds are generally not available.

2. Project-based work

For one-time build projects (e.g. a full Discord backend, onboarding flows, automation setup):

  • If you cancel before we begin work, we may, at our discretion, refund part or all of any upfront payment.
  • If you cancel after work has started, no refunds are guaranteed. In rare cases, we may agree to a partial refund based on the portion of work completed.

3. Ongoing retainers & maintenance

For monthly retainers (e.g. backend hosting, maintenance, tweaks and updates):

  • Fees already paid for the current period are typically non-refundable, as capacity is reserved and systems are being monitored.
  • If we mutually agree to end a retainer early, we may, at our discretion, offer a pro-rated credit or partial refund for any unused portion of the upcoming period.

4. Performance or income expectations

We do not promise or guarantee specific revenue numbers or outcomes. Backend and community systems are one part of your business – your offers, pricing, content, marketing, and sales also play a major role.

Because of this, refunds are not provided on the basis of “I did not hit X income” or similar results-based expectations.

5. Quality concerns

If you believe we have not delivered what was agreed, contact us as soon as possible with clear details. We will review the situation and may:

  • Clarify misunderstandings or explain how the system works;
  • Make reasonable adjustments to bring the work closer to the agreed scope;
  • Discuss partial refunds or credits in rare and justified cases.

6. Chargebacks

Attempting to reverse payments (e.g. via chargeback) after receiving work is strongly discouraged. If you have an issue, reach out first so we can try to fix it together.
